This is worth more than I ever could have imagined! I basically just tweak the materials, which takes a few minutes, rather than spending hours working on lesson plans. The scope and sequence of the units is logical and easy to follow, and the lessons are well designed. I haven't stayed up late once this year working!
The quizzes/tests we've gotten to so far have had high scores. Many 100% on quizzes. At first I thought this might mean they are too easy, but then changed that thinking to it showing how much confidence [the students] have with the material.
I generally like Listo y Llamativo. I really like the order of topics and grammar introduced as well as how there's not a tremendous amount of vocab introduced all at one time. Thus, the work and vocab are quite manageable.

What is Listo y Llamativo?
It's a Spanish 1, 2 and/or 3 curriculum for the entire year. Each month you'll get access to 18 days' worth of resources, which you can use in your classroom however you like. Monthly & Unit Plans are included, so you know what order the lessons are designed to be taught in. Everything you need to teach bell-to-bell is included - lesson plans, powerpoints, classwork, bell work, exit tickets, projects, assessments, answer keys, listening scripts...
When will the Spanish 3 resources be complete?
All Spanish 3 resources and the Vocabulary & Grammar Lists will be complete by the end of 2024.
I need digital versions. Are those included?
Yup! There are digital Google Slides versions included for the powerpoint and classwork for each lesson. Quizzes and projects also include digital versions.
My class periods aren't 50 minutes. Can I adapt this to longer/shorter class periods?
Yup! All documents are editable, so you can teach two lessons back to back if you have 90-minute blocks. Or you can exclude portions of the lesson to make it fit your schedule. Whatever works for you!
I teach these topics in a different order. Will I still be able to use this curriculum?
Yes! There is an index, which will tell you where you can find every topic included in Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. So you can skip around and tech the materials in a different order and easily find what you need.
My students don't retain info well. Will they be successful with this curriculum?
Absolutely! Many of the lessons include previous vocab or grammar in new ways, so that students don't forget old topics and get additional practice.
How long will I have access to the resources?
As long as you are enrolled in the membership, you'll have access to all the available resources. If you cancel your membership, you'll keep and can still use anything you downloaded, but will lose access to the membership portal and won't get any updates.
My students are unmotivated, apathetic, and/or disengaged. Will this curriculum reach them as well?
*sigh* Teenagers. Am I right?
Building relationships with students is key to reaching them, which a curriculum can't do for you. However, I created these lessons to keep boisterous and challenging middle school and high school students engaged in Spanish. They are easy to understand and fun to learn for teenagers. Our Facebook group will also allow us to collaborate and brainstorm when you have issues like this in your classroom!
My students hesitate to speak Spanish. Can this get them to interact en español?
Your students will speak Spanish from Day 1! They will be so used to speaking activities that they won't even realize how many things they can say in a foreign language by the end of the year. It will not be a big deal for them to turn to their partner or walk around the room speaking Spanish without you feeling like you're pulling teeth.
My classes have students of all levels mixed together. Will this curriculum help me differentiate?
Yes, that's common in many schools. It's easy to differentiate and offer different students whatever they need to be successful in Spanish 1 and 2. This curriculum will help make that easier.
How long will the payments continue for?
The monthly and yearly subscriptions will continue until you cancel them.
This means the monthly subscription will continue through the summer if you don't cancel. You can cancel at any time!
Admin likes to see objectives / learning targets. Are those included?
Yes, every single lesson includes the objective. You can post it wherever pleases your admin most.
